GETTING STARTED

• How do you take this online course?

Access the FAME Project website: http://www.fibromyalgia-cme.com

1. The navigation buttons on the homepage allow participants to browse the entire website
2. Select REGISTRATION/LOGIN to create a new account (or login if you are a return user)
3. For New Users, select CREATE NEW ACCOUNT and enter the required information
4. Complete the New User Survey and select your certificate type(CME, CE, or neither)
5. Select the CME/CE course package of interest and select UPDATE COURSE SUMMARY to activate the packages
6. To start viewing a module, select ENTER under Presentation
7. Select OPEN PRESENTATION on the bottom of the Presentation tab
8. Upon completion of the module presentation, complete the module exam (with 70% or higher) and evaluation
9. After all modules in the course package are complete, select PAY FOR CERTIFICATE to obtain a certificate of completion
10. Return to the Course Summary page to view an updated list of modules completed and not yet viewed
11. Continue viewing another module by selecting ENTER next to your presentation of choice

• How do I register?

On the homepage, select Register/Login on the left side of the page. Click on Create New Account! and fill in the form. For return users, enter your email and password under User Login and proceed through the courses.

• How do I access the course material?

Log-in to the FAME Project website using your email and password. On the Course Summary page, select the Module Package of interest under Activate and then ACTIVE/DEACTIVE COURSES at the bottom of the page. Under Presentations, select ENTER. To view all reference materials, select the REFERENCE tab. Select the SUPPORTING MATERIALS tab to view all supplemental documentation and videos.

• How do I take an exam?

After viewing the module presentation in its entirety, click on the module exam on the Presentation tab. Complete the exam and select Calculate Exam Score (or Reset if you’d like to clear all answers). If you do not receive 70% or higher on the exam, review the rationale for the missed questions and select Click Here to Return and Take the Exam Module Again. Once you’ve completed the module, an evaluation page will appear. After completing the evaluation, return to the Course Summary page and continue with the next module or click Pay for Certificate if all modules have been completed.

• How do I receive Contact Hours/CE credit for completing this online course?

After viewing each module and successfully passing the module exam, you will be directed to complete an evaluation. Your score and evaluation will then be submitted to the FAME Project administration. Once all modules within the Core and/or Supportive Program(s) are complete, you will be able to choose a certificate and pay for processing. After payment, a Certificate of Completion will be sent to you by mail.

• How do I pay for certification?

After you have logged in and completed the Core and/or Supportive Program(s), return to the Course Summary page. Select Pay for Certificate on the right side of the page. Choose “Yes, I would like to pay for the certificate” and then Proceed to Transaction. Complete the payment form and choose Checkout to complete the transaction.

POLICIES

• Cancellation/refund policy:

Please email us if you would like to cancel a transaction or if you think you may have submitted your credit card information twice. We almost always catch double payments and notify the participants. We would still encourage you to let us know by sending us an email message. We will immediately refund any canceled courses. We will void any payments that have been made in error.

• Privacy Policy:

We do not share private information that has been submitted during the registration process. The registration information is used to create the certificate of completion with your name on it. The information you share is stored in a secure database and will only be used for verification purposes.

FUTURE CME ACTIVITIES

• Do you have a mailing list I can join to find out about upcoming CME/CE courses?

We maintain an active mailing list of individuals interested in receiving information for upcoming CME activities. By adding your name to our database, you will be sure to receive an email from us for each new course. The personal information you provide us is only used to send you the latest course information and will not be used for any other purpose without your consent. • How can I provide feedback on future CME/CE course content I would like to see offered?

The NFA is interested in learning about continuing medical education (CME/CE) needs. Please take a moment to complete our CME/CE Assessment Survey. Your feedback will be used to assist the Continuing Medical Education Department with planning future CME/CE courses.
